
Busch, Marilyn Mimi
Busch, Marilyn “Mimi” age 66 of Beemerville, NJ passed away peacefully Wednesday July 6th at the Newton Medical Center following a long illness. Born in Chicago, IL, she grew up in Harrington Park and had lived many years in Pittsburg, PA, Kinnelon and Jefferson Twp., before moving to Beemerville in 2000.
Daughter of the late Raymond R. and LaVera E. (Swanson) Hill, Mimi was a graduate of the Kinnelon High School class of 1968, where she excelled in athletics like shotput, swimming and cheerleading. Mimi later graduated from the Dover Business College. A loving and devoted single mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she was an ardent Pittsburg Steelers fan who enjoyed bowling and racquetball. Mimi was a fun loving warm hearted woman who will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mimi had worked many years as the bartender at the Village Square Inn Newfoundland and later worked as a dedicated nanny for many families. Ms. Busch was pre deceased by a son David J. Busch in 2011 and a niece Cristen Edwards in 1988. Survivors include her son Chad A. Busch, her granddaughter Addison Mimi Busch, her sisters LaRae Lawson and Susan Keenan, her brother Robert Hill, her nieces Kelly Smolen, Jamie Keenan and Robyn Hill, her nephews Steven Edwards, Ryan Hill and Wayne Allen as well as her many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday July 9th, 2016 in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 main St. (Rt. 206) Newton from 11AM to 3 PM with funeral services starting at 3PM. The family repast will follow the funeral in the Beemerville Fire House at 4 PM.
