Bortone, Michael J.
Bortone, Michael J. age 63 of Frankford Twp. died unexpectedly at his home following a long illness. Born in Newark, he grew up in Montville, NJ and has lived in Frankford Twp. for the past twenty five years.
Son of the late Alphonse and Antoinette (Negri) Bortone, Michael was a general contractor and the owner of Kingsland Builders Inc. for many years. He was a former member of the Frankford Twp. Planning Board. An avid golfer, he will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his beloved wife of thirty eight years April (Meola) Bortone, his daughters Marisa and Lisamarie Bortone as well as his brother and two sisters.
Memorial visitation will be held Friday evening December 9, 2016 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM immediately followed by Memorial Services at 8:30 PM in the Iliff- Ruggiero Funeral Home 156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the ANS Center for Hope Foundation, 310 Madison Ave, Ste. 300, Morristown, NJ 07960.
