Boettcher, Theodore R. Jr. “Teddy” age 67 of Newton, NJ died Thursday April 24th, 2014 at the Newton Medical Center following a battle with cancer. Born in Summit, NJ he lived most of his life in Edison, NJ and his remaining life of 12 years at the Merriam House Newton NJ among close friends. Ted was a soldier who toured Korea an Germany. Ted was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley.
Son of the late Theodore R. Sr. and Doris (Beck) Boettcher, Teddy was a graduate of the Edison High School class of 1962. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Teddy will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his Sisters Patty and Jeannette, his brother Jimmy as well as his nephew Michael.
Military funeral services will be held Wednesday April 30, 2014 at 1:30 PM in the Brig. General William Doyle Veterans Cemetery 350 Provinceline Rd. Wrightstown, NJ.
