Bocchino, Dorothy L. age 91 of Newton died peacefully Thursday January 9, 2014 in Newton, NJ. Born in Morristown, NJ she grew up there and had lived many years in Bernardsville before moving to Newton in 1982. Daughter of the late Stanley and Mae (Burnett) Ayres, Dorothy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and homemaker.
She had worked many years for the A&P in both Warrenville and Bernardsville as a Cashier and Meat Department Clerk until her retirement in 1982.Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Joseph Anthony in 1983, Dorothy is survived by her son Joseph A. III of Randolph, her daughters Carla Patricia Jefferson of Wantage Twp. and Donna Marie Domaracki of Newton, her brothers Arthur Ayres of Budd Lake and George Ayres of Manchester, TN, her sister Connie Ayres of Edinburg, VA as well as her seven cherished grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday January 13, 2014 from 10:30 to 12:00 PM with Funeral services at 12:00 PM in the Iliff Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main Street, Newton, N.J. Interment to immediately follow in the Restland Memorial Park Cemetery DeForest Ave. East Hanover, NJ.
