LAFAYETTE – Marlyn (Mary) Bober (nee Liszkowicz), age 95, passed away at the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice on September 3, 2016. Marlyn was born in 1921 in Dupont, PA, moving to New Jersey as a teenager. She lived in Newark where she raised her family, then moved to Lafayette over 30 years ago.

She was a member of the Lafayette Senior Club and loved playing Bingo at Rev. Brown School and doing puzzles. She was happiest when she was with her family.

Marlyn was predeceased by her husband, George, a sister Sophie Turos and brothers Al and Joe. She was a devoted mother to her four daughters, Eileen Ziegler and husband Bob, Sharon Andrews and husband Bob, Donna Mikita and late husband Andy, and Michele Bober. She was also a loving grandmother to Chris Gorrell and husband Tom, Michael Ziegler, Andrea Mikita, Kyle Andrews and Whitney Andrews.

A special thanks to the staff at Newton Memorial Hospital and the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice who lovingly cared for our Mom and made her comfortable.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 12-3 with funeral services beginning at 3:00 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main Street (Rt. 206) Newton, New Jersey 07860. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, 99 Sparta Avenue, Newton, New Jersey 07860.
