Blake, Daniel R.
Daniel R. Blake – age 67 of Andover Township, New Jersey passed away unexpectedly at home Monday February 24, 2020. Born in Elyria, Ohio, Daniel first came to Sparta, N.J., then settled in Lafayette, N.J. 25 year ago. Mr. Blake was a member of Troop 81 of Boy Scout Troop 81 of Andover for many years serving as its treasurer. He was a member of Motor Sports North East, the Ridge Riders Dirt Bike Club. Mr. Blake was a graduate of University of Akron, Ohio. He was the finance controllership manager for Honeywell, Morris Plains, N.J. for many years.
Son of the late John H. Blake and Sylvia Petkovsek-Blake, he is predeceased by son Samuel Roy Blake. Survived by his beloved wife Tracy Blake, sons John F. and Evan G. Blake. Daughters Sarah M. and Jennifer Blake. Daniel is also survived by his sister Linda Kuharik.
Memorial visitation will be held Sunday March 1, 2020 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. with memorial services immediately following at 4:00 p.m. Contributions can be made “in memory of Dan” to the NAMI Sussex: P.O. Box 652 Sparta, N.J. 07871
