
Billing, Anders
Anders S. “Stu” Billing, age 79 of Lake Mary, Fla., passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014.
Son of the late Hans Otto and Ina (Gregor) Billing, Anders was born in Brooklyn, NY and, except for the years 1972 through 1986 when he lived on Overlook Farm in Little Falls, New York, lived in Northern New Jersey most of his life, most recently in Morris Township, before moving to Florida 10 years ago. A prominent office and industrial real estate developer, Anders was the founder of Fairmor Development Corp., forerunner of the Commercial Realty Group. Active in his community throughout his life, Anders was an Eagle Scout, a lifetime member of the American Polled Hereford Association from his years on Overlook Farm, a board member of the Friends of Israel, a former member of the Millington Baptist Church in Basking Ridge and member of the Church at the Gym in Sanford, FL. Anders also participated in the ministry of Prison Fellowship.
Predeceased by his sons Robert D. and Tyler K. Billing, Anders is survived by his wife, Caryn Northan; his ex-wife Diann E. (Dee) Billing; his sons Andrew and his wife Sheri of Greendell, NJ, Greg and his wife Renay of Long Valley, NJ, Chris of Washington, DC, and Lee and his wife Kelli, also of Long Valley, NJ; his daughters Lana Lenhardt of Rockingham, NC, Susan and her husband Paul Henry of Boonton Township, NJ, Kimberly Blackwell of Brooklyn, NY, and Janelle Billing of Montana. He is also survived by his sister Susan Rivoli of Oregon, as well as twenty-one grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services for Anders are private and under the direction of Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main St., Newton, NJ 07860. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, Answers in Genesis or Prison Fellowship.
