Aram, Robert George, age 64 of Hardwick Twp., NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Thursday August 25, 2022 following a brief illness. Born and raised in Yonkers, NY Robert had lived the Glendale section of Queens and Bushkill, PA before moving to Hardwick, NJ twenty two years ago.
Son of the late William and Anna (nee Woods) Aram, Robert was a graduate of Lincoln High School Yonkers, NY and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Iona University. Mr. Aram had a long and successful career, working hard and becoming a Senior Vice President and Program Analyst with Barclay’s Capitol working from their Whippany, NJ office.
A devout parishioner of the Saint Jude Roman Catholic Church of Blairstown, NJ, Robert was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and friend to many. With a passion for the beauty of nature, Robert enjoyed his many trips to Lake Placid, NY or any mountain region. A loyal NY Mets fan, he also enjoyed Country and Blue Grass music. A consummate entertainer and a talented cook, Mr. Aram loved spending time with his family and friends, especially during his favorite Holidays Christmas and Thanksgiving. Robert had a sweet tooth and truly enjoyed his ice cream, chocolate chip cookies and milk. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Aram’s is survived in life by his beloved wife of thirty-seven years Carla Adelle (nee Abbene), his son Matthew and his fiancée Angela Schooner, his daughter Amanda and her husband Kyle Slocum and his sister Nancy and her husband Richard Hayes. Also surviving are his cousins Gene and his wife Mary Beth Fraleigh and Karen and her husband Anthony Carretta as well as his beloved pets Joey, Muffins and Mimi.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday August 30, 2022 at 1030 AM in the Saint Jude Roman Catholic Church #7 Eisenhower Road Columbia, NJ 07832. Arrangements and online condolences through www.iliff-ruggierofuneralhome.com.
Rob was the best brother ever. My heart is truly broken. I will always cherish the memories we shared. Rest in peace my brother.
