Aquino, Gerardo Delgado Guanche
Aquino, Gerardo Delgado Guanche age 78 of Frankford Twp., NJ died peacefully at his home with his loving family at his side Monday July 25th, 2016. Born in Havana Cuba, Gerardo had resided in West New York, NJ and Miami Florida for many years before moving to Frankford many years ago.
Son of the late Sixto Antonio and Maria DeLa Asuncion Lorenza Delgado Guanche Aquino, Gerardo was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and brother who always worked hard to support his family. Music has always been one of Gerardo’s loves, beginning with his grandfather’s music school Gerardo Delgado Guanche in Havana Cuba where he worked many years as an assistant.
Survivors include his beloved wife Maria Elisa Padilla deAquino, his sons Gerardo Julian of Frankford Twp., and Alejandro of Stanhope and his daughter Rosario Aquino of Frankford Twp. Also surviving are his beloved grandchildren Gerardo and Brandon Aquino as well as his brother Eduardo Delgado Guanche Aquino.
A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday July 27th, 2016 at 10:30 AM in the Frankford Plains Cemetery Plains Rd. Frankford, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 main St. (Rt. 206) Newton.
