Annichiarico, Mary age 96 formerly of Lodi, NJ died peacefully Monday November 11, 2013 at the Homestead Nursing Home Frankford Twp., NJ. Born in Lodi, Mary was a lifelong resident.

Daughter of the late Philip and Grace (Abbate) Annichiarico, Mary was a graduate of the William Paterson College earning her Bachelor’s degree in Education. A dedicated professional, Mary enjoyed her career as a school teacher for over forty years with the Lodi Public School system. She touched many young lives and maintained contact with many of her students though out the years.

A world traveler, Mary also enjoyed writing and most of all spending time with her family. A former parishioner of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church Lodi, She was a loving and devoted daughter who cared for her elderly parents until their final days. Mary will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Pre deceased by her brother Dr. Joseph Annichiarico, she is survived by her sister Evelyn Scancarella formerly of Lodi, her nieces Grace Valenti and Patricia Mastrogiacomo, her nephews Gerard, Philip, Dr. Joseph, Michael Annichiarico and John Tutorino as well as many grand and great grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 16th, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum #58 Mclean Blvd. Paterson, NJ. Visitation will be held Friday Nov. 15th from 7-9 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home 156 Main St (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ 07860. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital www.stjude.org
