Angelica, Janet Rita
Angelica, Janet Rita age 80 of the Cranberry Lake Section of Byram Twp., NJ died unexpectedly Friday morning July 29th, 2016 at the Newton Medical Center following a brief illness. Born and raised in Plainview Texas, she had lived in Clovis, NM and Elmwood Park, NJ for many years before moving to Byram Twp. in 2003.
Daughter of the late J.R. and Maureen (Thaxton) Carter, Janet was a graduate of the Plainview TX High School class of 1953. She had worked many years as a Bakery Clerk and Cashier for the Grand Union in Elmwood Park before her retirement in 1998. A
A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Mrs. Angelica was pre deceased by her sister Quadine Thouey in 2002 as well as a nephew John Thouey in 2012. Survivors include her beloved husband of sixty years Vincent P., her sons Vincent P. III of Murfreesboro, TN and Scott D. and his wife Patricia of Byram Twp., and her grandchildren Steven and Christopher Angelica. Also surviving are her nieces Debbi Haley and Shari Carnivari as well as her nephews Jimmy Rios and Ronald Thouey.
Visitation will be held Monday August 1, 2016 from 2-3 PM immediately followed by Funeral Services at 3PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 main St. (Rt. 206) Newton.
