Albano, Claire
Albano, Claire D. age 92 of Blairstown, NJ passed away at her home peacefully and surrounded by her loving family Saturday May 14, 2022. Born in Cedar Grove, she had lived there until 1988 when she moved to Blairstown.
Daughter of the late Rocco and Vincenzia (nee Cianci), Claire was a graduate of Bloomfield Sr High School class of 1947. Claire had studied interior decorating and had been employed by JJ Newberry’s in Montclair as a bookkeeper for many years. A devout parishioner of Saint Jude Roman Catholic Church Blairstown, Claire was never married but was devoted to her family. A skilled shopper she was also a true fan of QVC.
Miss. Albano was predeceased by her brothers John, Thomas, Vito, Anthony, as well as a sister Josephine Albano. She is survived in life by her nephew John Albano of South Carolina, her niece Claire Desmond of California as well as many great nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Prince.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday May 20, 2022 at 11 AM in Saint Jude Roman Cathlic Church #7 Eisenhower Road Columbia, NJ 07832.
