| Norma A. Crisson Crisson, Norma A. age 80 of Newton, NJ died peacefully Tuesday February 3rd, 2009 at her home at Bristol Glen Newton, NJ. Born in Mountaintop, PA she had resided in Westfield, NJ for over fifty years before moving to Newton seven years ago. Daughter of the late Ernest and Margaret (Richards) Dickinson, Norma was a graduate of the Battin H.S. Elizabeth, NJ and later from the Berkeley Secretarial School. Mrs. Crisson had worked many years as a Secretary for the Central Railroad in New York City, and later for the Kiwanis Magazine of Jersey City, NJ. A member for over fifty years of the Westfield Methodist Church, Norma had served on numerous committees. She was selected as the churches first volunteer of the month. A current and active member of the First United Methodist Church of Newton she served on many standing committees. A member of the Westfield Atlas #99 OES for over fifty years, she was also a member of the P.E.O Chapters U & C as well as the Jesterettes. Pre deceased by her beloved husband of over fifty years the late Lincoln Crisson in 2004. Survivors include her loving daughter Peggy and her husband George Melvin of Chatham, her loving son George and his wife Christine (Mueller) Crisson of Scotch Plains, NJ. Her cherished grandchildren Jennifer and Brandon Melvin, her beloved dog Pumpkin as well as many wonderful friends. Memorial Funeral services for Norma will be held Sunday, February 22nd, 2009 at 2:30 PM in the Bristol Glen Town Hall Newton, NJ. A memorial Service in May will be held at the Westfield United Methodist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main Street (Route 206) Newton, NJ .
