Sumalee C. White

White, Sumalee C. age 69 of Byram Twp., NJ died Thursday February 11th, 2010 at her home in Byram Twp. Born in Ubon, Thailand she came to the United States in 1968 and settled in Syracuse Utah becoming a US Citizen in 1976. She later moved to Miami, FL and to Sussex County in 2008. 

Daughter of the late Kasem and Jun (Chan) Chaleranchai, Sumalee had Earned her Cosmetology License and worked many years as such in Utah. She was later employed as an Assembler for the Allied Signal Corp in Utah and after moving to Florida she worked for the Niles Audio Corp in Miami until 2000.

An avid Gardener, Ms. White is survived by her sons Lloyd V. Smith and Tawachai Pongudom, her brother Sim Chaleranchai, her sister Yupin Wilsey and her niece whom she lived with Chindarat Aponte.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home 156 Main St. (Rt. 206), Newton, NJ.

Here are some special memories shared by family and friends.
It is a very small world. I was a coworker and friend of Sumalee at Niles Audio. We kept in touch through our friend Nora Pinger for many years after Sumalee's departure from work. A former 20 year resident of Sussex county, I came to leave condolences for a friends mother in the area when I came accross this sad note. She gave a great fight and I am so glad that we not only shared a loving work environment but that we also had the chance to share a wonderful place, Sussex County
