Elvira Marie Kennedy

Kennedy, Elvira Marie age 81 of Swartswood, NJ died Wednesday June 10th, 2009 at the Bristol Glenn in Newton following a long illness. Born in New York, NY she had resided in New York City for many years, moving to Swartswood in 1966. Daughter of the late Stanley and Maria (Puhar) Luvin, Elvira was a dedicated and devoted wife, and homemaker. Pre deceased by her loving husband Edward F. in October 1996, her brothers William and John Luvin and a sister Emma Fabiano. Survivors include her sisters Mary Telekamp of NY, NY and Antoinette Persich of East Williston, NY. Also survived by her sister in law Vera Luvin of R.V.C., NY, as well as a beloved aunt of several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Kennedy will be held Saturday June 13th, 2009 at 10:30 AM in the St. Joseph RC Church Newton, NJ. Interment will immediately follow in the Stillwater Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday June 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main Street (Route 206) Newton, NJ.
