Here are some special memories shared by family and friends.

Words cannot express the experiance that IS Dawn Camp. My beloved friend was more of a sister to me and I feel lost with out her. She had the power to make you smile with just a look in her eye. She had a laugh that just made you laugh too. Dawn had the power to just look at you and know what was on your mind and just the right way of helping in time of need. Now she can just help more people at one time instead of us "taking a number"; I will never forget 50 cent soda, getting in trouble with you, and that first night of summer that started it all- the first apperance of "thelma & louise". Dawn, I love you and will miss you with my entire heart. It will not be the same here without you! The next Captin and Diet is on me.

I never got to see my beautiful cousin Dawn very often, but we kept in touch over the years. She was such a wonderful person and will be terribly missed by everyone that knew and loved her. Holly & Chelsea Devins |
My deepest sympathy. To lose your loved one a such a young age surely adds to your grief. Psalms 56:8 says, "Do put my tears in your skin bottle. Are they not in your book?" God is aware of the tears you are shedding. He will soon do what is said at Acts 24:15 and John 5:28-29. May this bring you hope. Comfort one another. Allow those who love you to help you get through the difficult times ahead. A. Cole |
Greg & The Camp Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Hold tight the warm sweet memories of your beautiful loved one.

It was my honor and my pleasure to not only work with Dawn, but to call her my friend. I have very fond memories of our work time together at the Westin in Morristown and especially the personal time we spent together. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family and friends, and especially to her husband, her parents and her beloved pets. Go in peace dear friend. Sharon Debnam |
I just want to say what a lovely person Dawn was and I know her memory will live on. Her dad, Ken, is my brother-in-law and I love him dearly. The last time Dawn visited with Ken's mom and his sister, we had a wonderful time at my mom's house!
My heart grieves with you all, please rely on the Lord to get you through this sorrowful time! Love and prayers to you all. Sandy Viner Sandy Viner |
I never met Dawn, but I knew her.
I knew her as a beautiful lady who loved her mother and father.
I knew her as a wonderful wife and daughter.
I knew her to love her pets.
I knew her as a sports fan - especially the NY Rangers.
I knew Dawn because of the many moments I spent in her mother's office.
Those moments were times of joy listening to her mother tell all about her wonderful, beautiful and very special Dawn.
I knew Dawn as though I had met her many times through the twinkle of her mothers eye. Lee Brumfield |
I am going to miss you my dear friend! You were always there for me when I needed you. You were part of the "dawn squared". You knew how to put a smile on anyone's face and make their problems disappear. It was a pleasure knowing you and god bless your husband, family, friends, and your soul. You will always be in my prayers, sunshine! Dawn Hogan |
I never had the pleasure of meeting Dawn in person; however, I know the love and pride that would spill across Mary's face when Dawn's name came up. My heartfelt condolences to all the family & friends whose lives have been changed in a twinkle of an eye. Take comfort in knowing that soon you will reunited with the one who was such a significant part of your lives. She has only gone ahead to wait for you. May God grant you peace and comfort in this time of sorrow. Art Butler Art Butler |
I didn't really know Dawn, but I work with her mom, Mary, and I have listened as Mary spoke of her daughter in that proud, loving way that parents speak of their children. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, Mary and your entire family. Please know that your VBJDC friends are here to give you whatever support you need upon your return. Susan Winters |

Dear Greg and Family,
I worked with Dawn at The Madison Hotel and at The Ramada Hotel. Dawn was in our wedding and was a very special friend for a long time. Although we have not kept in touch for some time, I have fond memories of our time working together and our time as close friends. I was there when Dawn met Greg and I remember how much in love she was with him, and still is...Dawn will always be remembered in my heart as a very generous, giving and loving person. My prayers are with you, Greg and your family, as you go through this heartbreak and grief. With Much Love, Stephanie and Chuck Dietz

I will never forget you, smiley one. We had many good times in the Westin years, many laughs. Your warm heart made the bad, good and the painful, tolerable. My thoughts and prayers go out to Greg, your parents, and all your family and friends. Although Dawn will be greatly missed, know that she is comfortable and in a better place. See you soon my friend. Michael Costic |

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free.
I'm following the path God has laid you see.
I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day.
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found that peace at the close of the day. Ellen Weed |
If parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,Oh yes these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch Perhaps my time seemd all too brief Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee. God wanted me now He set me free!
Greg, Hope these words give you comfort in this difficult time. We are always here to listen, to hug, or just to be around. Remember all the good times the two of you had! The Weed Family Ellen Weed |

"Let not your heart be troubled, Believe in God; believe also in me. In my father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also." John14:1-4

I have not seen Dawn for years but was a roomie with her back in our early years (I was 19 she was 21). We had so many great times in her house in Montville. The parties that we had there! She always had a dog and was definitely a BIG animal lover! I was so shocked when I saw that she had passed. I am so saddened for your family but it sounds like you will have many wonderful memories that will last you a lifetime. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
