Here are some special memories shared by family and friends.

I was saddened to learn of John's death. I served as Mayor of Califon from 1979 to 1983. John was a good cop; he understood the need to work with people to resolve difficulties. In all the years we worked together I never remember anyone telling me that they were not treated fairly by John. He ran the department professionally and efficiently. Califon was lucky to have him. My condolences to the family and friends.

My condolences to the family and John's friends. I worked with John while I was a Califon council member and he was always a credit to the uniform and a dedicated servant of the community. He will be missed.
