Roy, we had many memories together in Park Ridge...probably too many to list. Like the many times I blamed you for splashing turpentine in Karen's eyes...yes, I did it but they all believed me! How about that party you took me to when I was like 16 and your friend was teaching me how to use a butterfly knife??? No sooner did you say, "If she cuts herself I'll be very annoyed" that's exactly what happened!!! I can go on and on with the memories, years worth. You were a great cousin and we had such good times growing up. Love you...

Do not question GOD, thatâ??s what they say, But someone needs to explain why my brother Roy was taken away. You did so much for me and I didnâ??t do much for you, I hope you will forgive me for the things I didnâ??t do. I sit here wondering what am I to do, There is no one that will ever be able to take the place of you. The boys are blessed with their Uncle Royâ??s eyes, Beautifully brown, filled with love, adventure and surprise. Please rest in peace Roy, you worked so hard - we want you to listen, But, knowing you, youâ??re probably building GOD a brand new kitchen. You are in a much better place now Roy, all your pain has gone away, Just remember we will all reunite on the other side one sweet day. Love you forever and always, Your Baby Sister, Missy

I knew Roy as a tough guy with a heart of solid gold. If you were part of his family or a friend, he'd protect and defend you without hesitation! Always the daredevil and risk taker - The first time i met Roy, he did a flip off the Park Ridge High School Sign and as a bonus he had some fireworks for more entertainment. Did you ever know anyone that owned as many cars as Roy? He loved to take them apart and put them back together so they became faster and louder. And Yes, they were the fastest and loudest in town. Before he got his drivers license, Roy would hop on his bicycle and ride to Ramsey to visit his friends and he'd do his crazy bike stunts and make us crack up. Roy was always so fun and loved to tease you to get a laugh. Thank you for being so REAL to everyone. You were one of a kind! My prayers go out to you and your family. xxooxxoo

Tracie,Thank you so much for bringing Roy (and Charissa) into my life. I am better for it and I truly love Roy as he loved me. This was my first birthday in 9 years that he did not get to call me and say "I love you Mom" "Happy Birthday". Even on 9/11/01 he got through to say it to me. I have been amazed at the friendships that you guys have developed - I will miss Roy and help you to keep his memory alive for Charissa so that she continues to love him also. I love you guys - (wassup?) Love Mom

I am so sorry to you and your family for your loss. Roy was a good person in our younger days. It has been many of years that I have seen him. By seeing his smiling face, it hasn't changes at all. God gave you all a incredible angel with you all at all times. I know it is hard loosing someone you love, I lost both of my parents at a young age, but they are within me which gives me so much strength to be stronger everyday and keep a positive attitude on life. My parents raised my sister she is mentally challenged and I take care of her for 13 yrs now and she made me even stronger because we all have the same blood. So it is ok to grieve any way that helps you and your family get through this time. Missy if you and your sisters need to talk just get in touch with me. I understand how you feel. It is very hard, just remember you don't have to let them go, you will see them in different ways in your life! love you all. Jennifer Hanson Park Ridge friend
