| Virginia Smith Dolan Dolan, Virginia age 86 of Hampton Twp., NJ died Friday evening July 25th peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Blakslee, PA, Virginia had resided in Pocono Lake, PA for many years before moving to Hampton Twp., in 1950. Daughter of the late Adam O. and Clarissa (Blakslee) Smith, Mrs. Dolan had worked forty years as a Clerk for Selective Insurance Co. of Branchville. A loving and devoted wife, mother and sibling, Virginia also enjoyed quilting. Survivors include her husband Francis J., her daughters Margaret J. Ostroff of Old Lyme, CT and Elizabeth F. Thorton of North Plainfield. Also survived by her brothers John Smith of Pocono Lake, NJ and Richard Smith of Blakslee, PA as well as her sister Emily Carter of Pocono Lake, PA. Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ. |

A dear Aunt who will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and love of family as well as her orange-carrot jello salad. The success of every 4th of July depended on her presence.
