CLARICE HOCKENBERRY

Clarice Hockenberry of Sandyston, 66, died peacefully on Tuesday January 27th, 2009. Born in Los Angeles, CA, she lived briefly in Aurora, CO and Butte, Montana before finally settling in El Segundo, CA. In recent years, she found great joy and fulfillment in sharing her knowledge of the world of rock, stone and gems with everyone at the Rock and Gem Shop in Lafayette, NJ.

Clarice is survived by her loving and devoted husband Patrick, her son Jason and wife Erin Brennan of North Plainfield, her daughter Tish and husband Kyle Van Arsdale of Madison, OH, as well as her grandchildren Zoe, Hannah and Quinn Van Arsdale, and Molly Brennan. Clarice is also survived by her loving mother Clarice Hoy of Aurora, CO, as well as many cherished relatives and adoring friends.

Here are some special memories shared by family and friends.
Dear Pat and Family, I can't tell you how sad I am to hear of Clarice passing. When I recently learned you lived in NY and we in VA, I was hoping we could reunite for a visit sometime soon. I am so sorry to miss the opportunity to again see Clarice who was a dear friend in our younger years. I send sincere condolences and love to you and your family. I'll keep you in my prayers. Sincerely, Nancy
