Slockbower, Kelly Michele age 32 of Newton died unexpectedly Wednesday February 24th, 2010 at her home in Rockaway, NJ following a brief illness. Born in Newton, she had lived there for many years moving to Rockaway five years ago. A 1991 graduate of the Newton High School, Kelly had worked as a …An active member of S.C.A.R.C, Kelly was an avid fan of Mickey Mouse and Orphan Annie and she enjoyed listening to music. Survivors include her mother Renee J. (Hedden) Slockbower of Newton, her father William “Terry” Slockbower of Lafayette, her brothers Jeremy and fiancée Jessie Wolicki Slockbower of Lafayette and Casey J. Slockbower of Newton. Kelly is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Monday March 1, 2010 at 8:30 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home 156 Main St. (Rt. 206), Newton, NJ. Visitation will be in the funeral home Monday evening from 2-4 and 7-8:30 PM. Interment services will be private and at the convenience of the family
