John, children and family, Words cannot express the sorrow I feel over Vicky's passing, her death has left a deep hole in my heart that will never completely heal. Vicky was an inspiration to all who knew her. I have never witnessed anyone who faced cancer with the courage, determination and dignity she did. Although she was unable to stop the cancer from destroying her body, she refused to let it destroy her spirit. Her outlook on life and her smile remained vibrant. I take comfort in the beautiful memories she has give me and the belief that she has moved on to a better place, her suffering is over. I pray that you will find comfort as well.

Vicky was a beautiful woman inside and out. She was kind, caring, loving, sympathetic, funny and an absolutely great host and cook. She would always put you before herself. She loved her kids more than life and her family & friends just as much. She was a great friend and would never pass judgment on anyone. You could always count on her to be there for you when you needed her and she would never ask for anything in return. She loved to please people and make her friends and family happy. My heart is breaking that she has passed on and that I will never get to see her smiling face again and hear her voice say "Hey Jenn" to me like she always did when I'd see her or spoke to her. My daughter who is Vickys niece looks just like her beautiful Aunt. Her middle name was even named after Vicky. That is how much she meant to us. Someone like Vicky only comes around once in a lifetime and she will forever be missed. However, she will never be forgotten. I love you Vicky. Love always & forever, Jenn McCarthy

My son Chris remembers Vicky fondly. She used to feed him & her brother Patrick after school. He said everything she made was so good, even if it was just a ham sandwich. My grandchildren Kassie & Shane have really good memories of their aunt. They will miss her very much. Our condolences go out to all of you. She will never be forgotten. Sincerly Jimmy & Mimi White

Vickie was the perfect mom, chef and friend to my daughter Ashley! She would do anything for her childrens buddies. No matter what time of the day she always had that smile and would say " What can I make for you?" My fondest memory of her kindness and generosity... The field hockey team had a booster club meeting at her home. Well there was a storm that afternoon and she had no power. Vickie insisted on making food! She cooked on her grill to make scrumptious appetizers. She always went above and beyond to make friends happy. Our field hockey, BB and softball sideline chats will always be cherished. May God now protect her and enjoy her delightful cooking talent in heaven. She is now supplying God with that awesome menu of dishes! Prayers and condolences to a special family! I met Vicky 30 years ago when I first moved upstate from the Bronx and she made the transition so much easier. She introduced me to my current husband of 23 years and for that I will always be grateful. She always had me laughing and is one of the tuffest people I know to have gone through what she did with a smile on her face. She raised three great children and was a great mother and wife who were always her first priority. My thoughts are with your family who were just like family to me. You will be missed and never forgotten. Love your friend Tara
