Myrtle Floyd

Floyd, Myrtle E. age 68 of Fredon Twp., NJ died peacefully with her loving family by her side Wednesday November 11, 2009. Born in Dover, NJ she had resided in Stanhope, NJ for thirty years and Blairstown, NJ for twenty years before moving to Fredon Twp. five years ago. A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Myrtle will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A homemaker, Mrs. Floyd enjoyed nature, gardening and spending time with her family. Pre deceased by her husband James J. Sr. in 2002, survivors include her daughter Darlene M. and husband Charles J. Bittner of Murrells Inlet, SC, her sons Jeffrey J. and wife Lauren S. Floyd of Brookside, NJ and James J. Jr. of Stroudsburg, PA. Mrs. Floyd is also survived by her five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main Street (Route 206) Newton, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorials in Myrtle’s memory may be made to the Karen Ann Quinlan Center of Home Hospice #99 Sparta Ave. Newton, NJ 07860.

I was so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I have such fond memories of playing with you Darlene when you lived on Main Street. She was a very sweet person. My thoughts and prayers are with you, know she had alot of people who loved her.
